Why it matters

Fogging alone will not stop the next generation

Most fogging only kills the adult mosquitoes flying today. We are an NEA Vector Control Operator, so we work the whole cycle, finding and removing breeding sites, larviciding stagnant water and fogging hotspots, to reduce mosquito activity and guide follow-up as site conditions change.

How we treat it

Find breeding, fog, reduce

An NEA vector control process that treats the whole mosquito cycle, from breeding sites to adults, and keeps hotspots in check.

01

Find the breeding

We inspect for breeding sites, stagnant water and hotspots around your property, indoors and out.

02

Fog & larvicide

We fog to knock down adults and larvicide standing water to stop the next generation, not just the mosquitoes flying today.

03

Source reduction

We remove breeding sites and advise on prevention, with recurring schedules available for condos, worksites and businesses.

Across Singapore

Mosquito control and fogging services across Singapore

Four Solutions provides NEA-licensed mosquito control, mosquito fogging and larviciding for homes, condos, worksites, F&B premises and events across Singapore. We knock down adult mosquitoes and cut breeding at the source to reduce the dengue risk, with recurring schedules available for larger sites.

Before booking

Match mosquito control to the premises

Homes and shared areas

Tell us about affected rooms, balconies, gardens and accessible water-holding areas. If the suspected source is in a shared drain, roof or neighbouring area, access and the responsible party need to be agreed.

Condos, businesses and events

Share the site size, occupied hours, outdoor areas and access restrictions. Agree which source checks, treatment zones and return visits are included, and who handles maintenance between visits.

Preparation and follow-up

Confirm any food, pet, occupied-area and re-entry instructions for the selected method. Record where and when mosquitoes return so follow-up can address changing site conditions rather than assume that more fogging is always the answer.

For household prevention guidance, see NEA guidance on preventing Aedes mosquito breeding. For an ongoing programme, see commercial pest control.

Before and after the visit

Preparing for mosquito treatment, and what happens after

Mosquito control works best when breeding sites are found and kept dry. These steps help the visit cover the right areas.

Before the visit

Tell us which rooms, balconies or garden areas are affected and when mosquitoes appear. Clear access to drains, plant pots, gutters and other water holding areas, and keep children and pets away from areas being treated until the technician says they can return.

On the day

The technician checks for breeding sites, treats standing water that cannot be removed, and fogs or mists only where it suits the site and the activity.

After the visit

Some mosquitoes can still appear while new ones emerge from breeding sites not yet found. Keep checking for stagnant water, and tell us where and when bites or sightings continue.

NEA asks households to do the Mozzie Wipeout at least once a week, because water as little as a 20 cent coin can be enough for breeding. It also notes that fogging only kills the mosquitoes it reaches and has to be repeated while breeding continues. Condos, worksites and businesses can arrange a recurring schedule, with the frequency advised for the site and season. Sources: NEA dengue prevention and NEA on fogging.

Good to know
Swarms near lights at dusk, but no one is being bitten?

A swarm near a light or water does not identify the insects. Record when and where it appears, take clear photographs from a safe position and distinguish observations from assumptions about the source. Explain whether the concern is within your premises, in estate common areas or beside a reservoir. Ask what has been identified and which area a proposed assessment or treatment will cover before selecting a method. The relevant site manager may need to clarify access or reporting responsibility. This mosquito service page does not establish a specialised midge-control offer or promise that private-premises work resolves an unverified source elsewhere. Read the detailed guide.

Mosquito Control FAQs

I see swarms near lights but no one is getting bitten. Are they mosquitoes?

The location and absence of reported bites are not an identification test. PUB describes non-biting chironomid midges associated with reservoirs, but this does not identify every small fly. Ask for the activity to be checked before choosing a treatment or reporting route. See the midge and mosquito guide.

Are you licensed for mosquito control?

Yes, Four Solutions is an NEA Vector Control Operator, Reg. NEA201812722M. Mosquito control is core to our licence and we have been featured on national TV alongside NEA.

Is fogging enough to control mosquitoes?

Fogging knocks down the adult mosquitoes flying today but does not stop the next generation. We combine fogging with larviciding and source reduction, removing the stagnant water where mosquitoes breed.

What is the difference between fogging and misting?

Fogging treats larger outdoor and perimeter areas quickly, while misting is more targeted for specific hotspots. We use the right approach for your property and situation.

Do you service homes, condos, businesses and events?

Yes, landed homes, condos, offices, worksites, F&B premises and events across Singapore, including recurring schedules for larger sites.

Can you help reduce dengue risk?

Yes. By cutting breeding at the source and treating hotspots, we reduce the mosquito population and the dengue risk around your property.

How often should mosquito control be done?

For ongoing protection, condos, worksites and businesses usually benefit from a recurring schedule. We advise on frequency based on your site and the season.

How do I get rid of mosquitoes inside my HDB flat?

Check water-holding containers and accessible breeding sites, and tell us which rooms are affected and when mosquitoes appear. We assess the source and suitable control; indoor fogging is not assumed to be appropriate for every flat.

Mosquitoes are breeding in my drain or shower pipe, what can be done?

Send a photograph of the suspected location without dismantling drainage fittings. We inspect whether breeding is present and agree suitable treatment or maintenance. Do not block drainage or change a water seal without appropriate building advice.

How do I keep mosquitoes and dengue risk away from my home?

Follow NEA household guidance on regularly checking water-holding areas, cleaning plant-pot plates and changing vase water every other day, and clearing accessible drains weekly. Four Solutions assesses source reduction and suitable treatment for the site; a recurring service does not replace household or building maintenance.
